Kale Crisps Recipe
Kale crisps are a great healthier snack alternative to fried potato crisps and are just as delicious! You can get creative with the seasoning to suit your taste, we've used salt and pepper for this recipe but we've listed other favourites below. Ingredients 100g of kale A drizzle of olive oil Salt and pepper (to taste) Method 1. Start by heating your oven to 150C/130C fan/gas 2 2. Wash the kale and break up into bite sized chunks, then put these into a mixing bowl. 3. Drizzle the kale with a little olive oil and massage into the kale. 4. Add your seasoning and mix well. 5. Place the kale evenly on the baking trays and place in the oven.
6. Check on the kale after 10 minutes to see how crispy it is, you may need a little longer.
7. Remove from oven when crispy but still green, and leave to cool for one minute before serving.
Here are some of the different seasoning options we love:
Smoked paprika
Garlic olive oil (as a substitute to olive oil)
